The Big Move
Yesterday we moved Melissa's house.
We started with breakfast at Denny's. Ashleigh the waitress was soo Dirty. but she pulled it off.. Rrrowr. I'd let Ashleigh eat my sausage anytime.. because they are small and greasy and not the best part of the lumberjack breakfast.
It took about 11 hours to move all the crap. There are pictures to come.
I surprisingly NOT sore this morning.
Unfortunately I slept to 1pm. I'm just packing for the trailer now.
How can it thunderstorm, and be this hot all at once?. it's evil.. heh heh
I'll be back in 10 days..

Looking for Melissas Defects
Yesterday was the walk through for Melissas house.
All the defects we found were marked with BLUE tape.
We used alot of blue tape.
There were alot of blemishes on the walls, and of course they laid the wrong flooring.
The Living Room Is bright. Small, but Bright.
The doorway is perfect for fighting off intruders. A couple bowling balls on that ledge and you're set.
"Not I don't want your Watch Tower Booklet" she'll say then "Steeeeerike"
At least she has a view, until the condo tower goes up.
The Master Bedroomhas an eastern exposure. The master bathroom was found to leak when you turn on the sink.and the electrical plugs didn't work in this room. Other then that it's a nice house.
Then we went for chinese food and looked for defects in the buffet.
The Function day went pretty good.
Seven and a half hours in the club.. sitting under the pole..
I feel so dirty.. in a good way.. heh heh

No Gas for the Hungry
Last night I attempted to BBQ myself a nice thick steak. I pre-lit the BBQ and went to grab my meat.
When I got back to the BBQ I ran out of propane.
Where's Hank Hill when I need him? Dang Cartoons, so unreliable.
I then mascaraed my steak on an electric grill.. bleah
Tough and overdone.
It wasn't until after eating my burnt shoe leather steak, I realized... The Auxiliary BBQ has a tank of gas.
Crap.

Unofficial Function Day
Birthday Shopping
Yesterday I woke up early, even though I worked last night. Shawn, Melissa, and I all went to IKEA to find some gifts for Melissa's Birthday.
We walked about endlessly for hours. Arguing over which glass is better.
I like Ikea.. It's next to the nurses college and it has lots of Eye Candy..
We all stopped and splurged on the 99 cent Breakfast. Scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage and a croissant. And their coffee is good too. Not the Swedish Coffee.. Melissa had the overly strong Swedish Crap. And the Pancakes that Shawn got were like hard cookies.
Melissa picked out some crap she wanted for her birth day.. I bought it. I told her to wrap it so I can give it to her. If I get her a card I'll have her sign it for me too.. lol
I grabbed a Nice Pine Picnic Table and Bench out of the scratch and dent section. I had to strap it down on my roof. Fun stuff.
Another exciting day at Ikea, and I got a solid two hours of sleep before i had to go to work.

Today is the day where...
I'm watching Charles in Charge the War episode. It has Meg Ryan. I hate Charles in charge. Meg Ryan looked pretty good there. But since the show is 20 years old.. She's probably a bit more wrinkly now.
Melissa's Birthday is in 9 days. I went out to find her a gift.
I ended up at Deja Vu Discs. They close the Pickering store because Quizno's Subs made a better offer on the retail space and they didn't renew the lease on time.
I went to the Kennedy Commons locations and bought some Cd's.

Function Day 2006
The Big day is June 20..
That is the day that we have organized The Unofficial Function day of our work place.

New car, not mine...
Mom has gotten a 2006 RAV 4 for the weekend.
It's a company car.. so I'm not allowed to take it out for a spin.
I hope she has fun filling it with groceries and stuff...
Whatever, I didn't want to drive it anyways.. I got my own truck.
Mine is already dirty and broken in.
Although the Rav has all sorts of storage and the new V6 engine. One of the reasons I bought the Escape was because the RAV4 wasn't available in a 6 cylinder at the time.
I bet it would get dirty real good if I could take it off roading.
