the FIRST day of Spring
Today is the FIRST day of Spring..this year.
I've lived through other spring days and this isn't really my first.
I feel like such a "Spring day" Whore now.
On a pessimistic note.. today is the last day of winter..
Goodbye beautiful snow, crisp cool air, slippery roads and 8 hours of sunlight.
oh.. wait.. it's still -5, snowing, and I work at night..
I've been contemplating firing up the Bar-B-Que lately. Getting some big thick steaks, and potatoes. Grill up some mushrooms and saute some onions. Too bad it's been so cold. Not that I mind cooking outside in the cold. The Gaile force winds we've been experiencing lately are another story.When it's -2 C with a windchill of -20 C.. It makes Grilled cheese sound more tasty.At least it's warmer.
